Absolutely! We carefully select each ingredient to make sure it’s safe for both cats and dogs.

What is 'bio'?

"Bio" or "biologisch" in dutch is most commonly used to refer to organic food.

Are all your treats organic?

Yes, at Pawrent Pawtisserie, we make our artisanal treats using bio/organic poultry, vegetables, fruit and cheese.

Is orgnaic farming better for the environment?

By eating organic you contribute to healthier soil, cleaner water, fewer harmful substances in the air and more different types of plants and animals. In addition, cows, sheep, chickens and pigs in organic farming have a more natural life.

By switching to organic farming, fewer harmful substances are released into the environment. Farmers use only natural crop protection products, no artificial fertilizers and no genetically modified organisms. The result: healthier soil, cleaner water and more different types of animals and plants.

You say you use 'Beter Leven/Better Life' eggs. What does that mean?

Chickens with 2 or 3 stars Better Life quality mark normally have access to a free range or forest edge. If there is a coop obligation, they can no longer use this. They do still have access to the covered run, where they can also experience the outdoor climate but cannot come into contact with wild birds.
